Bill McMurray

Bill has 27 years of experience in the insurance industry and would love to put that expertise to work for you by analyzing your personal and commercial exposures and helping ensure you’re paying a fair price for the right coverage.

Active in the St. Joseph community, Bill has served as president of more than 20 nonprofit organizations, completed a term as Mayor of St. Joseph in 2022, and previously served 10 years as Buchanan County Public Administrator. A lifelong musician, he currently serves as a pastoral musician at several local parishes. He is also an Eagle Scout, a Chieftain in Mic O Say, and serves as an officer in six community organizations and an advisory director at Nodaway Valley Bank.

Bill holds BME and MME degrees from the University of Kansas and has earned several respected industry designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA). He and his wife, Judy, have been married for 36 years and are proud parents of four daughters and grandparents to seven grandchildren.
